About Azilide Redimed 100 mg Suspension:

Each 5 ml of Azilide Redimed 100 mg Suspension contains Azithromycin (as Dihydrate) equivalent to Azithromycin (Anhydrous) 100 mg and Flavoured syrupy base q.s.

Azilide Redimed 100 mg Suspension is a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. Azilide Redimed 100 mg Suspension blocks transpeptidation by binding to 50s ribosomal subunit of susceptible organisms and disrupting RNA-dependent protein synthesis at the chain elongation step. It stops the bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins.

Use of Azilide Redimed 100 mg Suspension:

Azilide Redimed 100 mg Suspension is a macrolide antibacterial drug, used for the treatment of patients with the following bacterial infections:

• Upper respiratory tract infections such as sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, etc.
• Acute otitis media
• Lower respiratory tract infections such as acute bronchitis and mild to moderately severe community-acquired pneumonia
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Uncomplicated Chlamydia trachomatis urethritis and cervicitis.
• Uncomplicated gonorrhea, etc.

Usage direction of Azilide Redimed 100 mg Suspension:

• Azilide Redimed 100 mg Suspension should be taken orally.
• Do not mixed with water.
• Shake well before use.
• Check the label for directions before use.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
• Do not refrigerate.
