About Azax 100 mg Susp:

Each 5 ml of Azax 100 mg Suspension contains Azithromycin (as Dihydrate) equivalent to Azithromycin (Anhydrous) 100 mg.

Azax 100 mg Suspension is a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. Azax 100 mg Suspension blocks transpeptidation by binding to 50s ribosomal subunit of susceptible organisms and disrupting RNA-dependent protein synthesis at the chain elongation step. It stops the bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins.

Uses of Azax 100 mg Susp:

Azax 100 mg Suspension is a macrolide antibacterial drug, used for the treatment of patients with the following bacterial infections:

• Upper respiratory tract infections such as sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, etc.
• Acute otitis media
• Lower respiratory tract infections such as acute bronchitis and mild to moderately severe community-acquired pneumonia
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Uncomplicated Chlamydia trachomatis urethritis and cervicitis.
• Uncomplicated gonorrhea, etc.

Usage direction of Azax 100 mg Susp:

• Azax 100 mg Suspension is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Azax 100 mg Suspension is for paediatric use only.
• Shake well before use.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Azax 100 mg Susp:

• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Azax 100 mg Suspension.
• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
• The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Azax 100 mg Suspension with any other medication.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Azax 100 mg Susp:

Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C, protected from moisture.
