About Azitus 100 mg Suspension:

Each 5 ml of Azitus 100 mg Suspension contains Azithromycin 100 mg.

Azitus 100 mg Suspension is a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. It acts by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit of susceptible microorganisms and, thus, interfering with microbial protein synthesis. Azithromycin should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria in order to prevent the development of antimicrobial resistance and maintain the efficacy of Azithromycin.

Uses of Azitus 100 mg Suspension:

Azitus 100 mg Suspension is a macrolide antibacterial drug, used for the treatment of patients with the following bacterial infections:

• Upper respiratory tract infections such as sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, etc.
• Acute otitis media.
• Lower respiratory tract infections such as acute bronchitis and mild to moderately severe community-acquired pneumonia.
• Skin and soft tissue infections.
• Uncomplicated Chlamydia trachomatis urethritis and cervicitis.
• Uncomplicated gonorrhea, etc 

Usage direction of Azitus 100 mg Suspension:

• Azitus 100 mg Suspension is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Azitus 100 mg Suspension is for paediatric use only.
• Use the measuring cap for accurate dosing.
• Shake well before use.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Azitus 100 mg Suspension:

• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Azitus 100 mg Suspension.
• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
• The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Azitus 100 mg Suspension with any other medication.
• Keep out of reach of children.
