About Augmentin Dds Syp:

Each 5 ml of reconstitution Augmentin Dds Syp contains Amoxycillin Trihydrate equivalent to Amoxycillin 400 mg and Potassium Clavulanate Diluted equivalent to Clavulanic Acid 57 mg.

Use of Augmentin Dds Syp:

Augmentin Dds Syp is prescribed for the treatment and management of community-acquired pneumonia, acute bacterial sinusitis, otitis media, urinary tract infections, skin and other soft tissue infections caused by beta-lactamase producing pathogens.

Usage direction of Augmentin Dds Syp:

• Augmentin Dds Syp should be taken orally.
• Sterile water for reconstitution, provided with this pack.
• Please check the package leaflet of label instruction before use.
• Shake well before use.    
• Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

How to make the suspension of Augmentin Dds Syp:

• Shake the bottle to loosen powder.
• Then to make upto 30 ml, add sterile purified water provided with the bottle of Augmentin Dds to ¾ of fill mark on bottle.
• Replace the cap and shake the bottle until all of the powder is suspended.
• Add more sterile purified water until the level of the fill line is attained and shake again.
• After reconstitution close the bottle tightly and immediately keep in a refrigerator when not in use. Use reconstituted suspension within 7 days.

• For paediatric use only.
• If allergic to this medicine, inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• Do not use if powder or reconstituted solution turns pale yellow to brown colour.
• Do not use the product if seal is missing or not intact.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Augmentin Dds Syp:

Store in a well-closed container at a temperature not exceeding 25ºC and protect from moisture.
