Each 5 ml of Atm XL 100 mg Suspension contains Azithromycin 100 mg.

Atm XL 100 mg Suspension is a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. Atm XL 100 mg Suspension Tablet blocks transpeptidation by binding to 50s ribosomal subunit of susceptible organisms and disrupting RNA-dependent protein synthesis at the chain elongation step. It stops the bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins.

Uses of Atm XL 100 mg Suspension:

Atm XL 100 mg Suspension is a macrolide antibacterial drug, used for the treatment of patients with the following bacterial infections:

• Upper respiratory tract infections such as sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, etc.
• Acute otitis media.
• Lower respiratory tract infections such as acute bronchitis and mild to moderately severe community-acquired pneumonia.
• Skin and soft tissue infections.
• Uncomplicated Chlamydia trachomatis urethritis and cervicitis.
• Uncomplicated gonorrhea, etc.

• Atm XL 100 mg Suspension is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
