About Sofitol IG Granules:

Sofitol IG Granules is a laxative formulation used for the treatment of constipation in adult patients only. It is enriched with lactitol monohydrate and ispaghula husk, which work together to provide effective relief. It draws fluid into the bowel, increasing the stool’s water content and volume, thereby softening the stool and promoting a bowel movement, where soft stools are desirable, such as after rectal or anal surgery, with anal fissures, or during pregnancy. It stimulates the natural contractions that move stool through the digestive tract. It improves overall well-being with irritable bowel syndrome.

Each 15 g Granules contains:

Lactitol Monohydrate: 10 g, Ispaghula Husk: 3.5 g, Excipients: q.s.

Colours: Sunset Yellow FCF & Ponceau 4R

Uses Of Sofitol IG Granules:

• Used for the treatment of constipation in adult patients only.

Usage Direction Of Sofitol IG Granules:

• Sofitol IG Granules is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
• Add required scoop of Sofitol IG Granules to a glass of water.
• Stir briskly and consume immediately.
• Follow it up with a glass of water.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the recommended dose.
• Before consumption, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

Precaution & Other Related Information Of Sofitol IG Granules:

• If allergic to any ingredients of Sofitol IG Granules, let the physician know straight away.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this one with any other medicines or supplements.
• Replace cap tightly after use.
• Sofitol IG Granules should not be administered to patients with intestinal obstruction, fecal impaction, colonic atony or those with known hypersensitivity to ispaghula or lactitol.  
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.
