About Merzkem Sachet:

Merzkem Sachet is formulated as granules for oral administration, used to treat high ammonia levels in the blood (hyperammonemia), a condition associated with liver disease. It is a combination of two amino acids L-Orthonine & L-Aspartate, that works by helping the body remove excess ammonia through the liver and the muscles. This action helps improve symptoms of hepatic encephalopathy, such as confusion and drowsiness, in patients with impaired liver function.

Composition:

Each 5 g sachet contains:

L-Ornithine L-Aspartate: 3 g, Flavoured Base Excipients: q.s.

Colour: Sunset Yellow

Uses Of Merzkem Sachet:

• Treatment of Hepatic Encephalopathy, a brain disorder caused by liver disease.
• Reduction of elevated blood ammonia levels (hyperammonemia) in patients with liver impairment.
• Management of symptoms associated with high ammonia, such as mental confusion, sleep disturbances, and tremors.

Usage Direction Of Merzkem Sachet:

• Merzkem Sachet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
• Dissolve the contents of the sachet in a glass of water or juice and drink after meals.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the recommended dose.
• Before consumption, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

Precaution & Other Related Information Of Merzkem Sachet:

• If allergic to any ingredients of Merzkem Sachet, let the physician know straight away.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this one with any other medicines or supplements.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep all medicines out of reach of children.

Caution:

• Without opening, shake and check the sachet for free flowing granules.
• Not to be used if granules are caked.

Storage Condition Of Merzkem Sachet:

• Store protected from light and moisture at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
