Simyl MCT Infant Milk Substitute Powder is a lactose free infant milk substitute shall only be used in case of diarrhoea in infants due to lactose intolerance. The lactose free & sucrose free infant milk substitute shall be withdrawn if there is no improvement in the symptom of intolerance. This powder is valuable in the dietary management of lactose intolerance & sucrose intolerance.

Usage Direction:

• Simyl MCT Infant Milk Substitute Powder is intended to consume orally in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
• Preparation: 1. The utensil and spoon should be cleaned and sterilised by keeping in boiling water for a minimum of 5 minutes before using.
• Standard Dilution: 2. Use only the scoop provided from this tin. Refer to the feeding guide & take required number of leveled scoops of Simyl-MCT powder in the sterilized utensil. 3. Add a small quantity of lukewarm water (previously boiled) & make a smooth paste. 4. Gradually add more water with stirring to make up the required volume (refer to the feeding guide).
• Feed recommendations: As per the feeding guide, or as directed by the physician.
• Feed the reconstituted Simyl-MCT at body temperature.
• Prepare reconstituted Simyl-MCT afresh for each feed.
• Close the tin tightly after each use.
• Before consumption, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

Safety Information:

• If allergic to any ingredients of Simyl MCT Infant Milk Substitute Powder, let the physician know straight away.
• The physician should be well informed when the concomitant consumption of this one with another product.
• Infant milk substitute is not the sole source of nourishment of an infant.
• Reconstituted Simyl-MCT is advised to be consumed within half an hour, otherwise microbial contamination may set in.
• Discard unused feed.
• Warning: Careful and hygienic preparation of infant milk substitute is most essential for health.
• Do not use fewer scoops than directed, since diluted feeding will not provide adequate nutrients needed by your infant.
• Do not use more scoops than directed, since concentrated feed will not provide the water needed by your infant.
• Infant milk substitute shall be used only on the advice of a health worker as to the need for its use and the proper method of its use.
• Warning: Boiled and cooled water shall be used to prepare this product and any leftover product must be discarded to reduce the risk of infection.
