Lactodex Starter (1) Powder is a spray-dried, milk protein-based infant formula (Type-II), used as an infant milk substitute containing a blend of Milk Fat and Vegetable Oils rich in essential fatty acids for normal growth and development of term infants upto 6 months of age. It is not the sole source of nourishment of an infant.

Uses:

• An infant milk substitute used for normal growth & development of term infants upto 6 months of age.

Usage Direction:

• Lactodex Starter (1) Powder is intended to consume orally and should be used only on the advice of a health worker as to the need for its use and the proper method of its use.
• Direction of use: 1. Wash the bowl and spoon thoroughly with soap and water. Then boil in water for 5 minutes. 2. Boil drinking water in a separate vessel for atleast 15 minutes & leave it till luke warm. 3. Take measured quantity of Lactodex starter formula in the previously sterilised bowl. 4. Add the required quantity of luke warm water & stir well to get an evenly mixed milk feed.
• Once the feed is prepared, use it within half an hour, otherwise, microbial deterioration of the product may set in. Use freshly prepared feed each time and discard any left-over feed.
• Before consumption, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

Safety Information:

• If allergic to any ingredients of Lactodex Starter (1) Powder, let the health worker know straight away.
• The health worker should be well informed when the concomitant consumption of this one with another medicine or supplement.
• Warning/Caution: Careful and hygienic preparation of infant milk substitute is most essential for health. Do not use fewer scoops than directed since diluted feeding will not provide adequate nutrients needed by the infant. Do not use more scoops than directed since concentrated feed will not provide the water needed by the infant.
• Infant milk substitute should be used only on the advice of a health worker as to the need for its use and the proper method of its use.
• Replace the lid tightly after each use.
• After opening, use the contents within two weeks or the expiry date, whichever is earlier.

Storage Condition:

• Store in a cool and dry place in an air-tight container.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
