Ingredients:

Each level scoop delivers 4.7 g powder.

Key Benefits: 

  • Serves as a liquid part of the complementary diet for infants after the age of 18 months 

Usage Direction: 

  • Lactodex-4 is intended to consume orally in a dose and direction as advised by the health professional.
  • Directions For Use: 1. Wash the bowl and spoon thoroughly with soap and water. Then boil in water for 5 minutes. 2. Boil drinking water in a separate vessel for atleast 15 minutes & leave it till lukewarm. 3. Take measured quantity of Lactodex-4 in the previously sterilized bowl. 4. Add the required quantity of lukewarm water & stir well to get an evenly mixed milk feed.
  • Replace the lid tightly after each use.
  • Once the feed is prepared, use it within half an hour, otherwise, microbial deterioration of the product may set in.
  • Use freshly prepared feed each time and discard any left-over feed.
  • After opening, use the contents within two weeks or the expiry date, whichever is earlier.
  • Before consumption always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product. 

Safety Information: 

  • If allergic to any ingredients of Lactodex-4, let the health professional know straight away.
  • The health professional should be well informed when the concomitant consumption of this one with another food product.
  • Infant food shall be introduced only after the age of six months and upto the age of two years. 

Warning/Caution: 

  • Careful and hygienic preparation of infant food is most essential for health.
  • Do not use fewer scoops than directed since diluted feeding will not provide adequate nutrients needed by the infant.
  • Do not use more scoops than directed since concentrated feed will not provide the water needed by the infant.
  • Infant food should be used only on the advice of a health worker as to the need for its use and the proper method of its use.
  • Infant food shall be introduced only after the age of six months and upto the age of two years. 

Important Note: Mother’s milk is best for the baby. Infant food is not the sole source of nourishment of an infant.
