About Zempred 8 mg Tablet:

Each uncoated Zempred 8 mg tablet contains Methylprednisolone 8 mg and Excipients q.s.

Zempred 8 mg tablet is a synthetic corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating properties. It binds to and activates specific nuclear receptors, resulting in altered gene expression and inhibition of proinflammatory cytokine production. It also decreases the number of circulating lymphocytes, induces cell differentiation, and stimulates apoptosis in sensitive tumor cell populations.

Use of Zempred 8 mg Tablet:

Zempred 8 mg tablet is a steroid medicine with anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating properties, which prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation.

Zempred 8 mg tablet is used for the treatment of a wide variety of medical conditions such as severe allergic conditions, anti-inflammatory or immunosuppressive conditions, severe asthmatic conditions, blood or bone marrow disorders, pain & swelling associated with the rheumatic disorder, and other steroid-responsive disorders.

Usage direction of Zempred 8 mg Tablet:

• Zempred 8 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Zempred 8 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Special warnings of Zempred 8 mg Tablet with food and drink:

During this medication, grapefruit or grapefruit juice should not be consumed.
