About Sterio 8 mg Tablet:

Each uncoated Sterio 8 mg tablet contains Methylprednisolone 4 mg.

Sterio 8 mg tablet is a synthetic corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating properties. It binds to and activates specific nuclear receptors, resulting in altered gene expression and inhibition of proinflammatory cytokine production. It also decreases the number of circulating lymphocytes, induces cell differentiation, and stimulates apoptosis in sensitive tumor cell populations.

Use of Sterio 8 mg Tablet:

Sterio 8 mg tablet is a steroid medicine with anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating properties, which prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation.

Sterio 8 mg tablet is used for the treatment of a wide variety of medical conditions such as severe allergic conditions, anti-inflammatory or immunosuppressive conditions, severe asthmatic conditions, blood or bone marrow disorders, pain & swelling associated with the rheumatic disorder, and other steroid-responsive disorders.

Usage direction of Sterio 8 mg Tablet:

• Sterio 8 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Disperse the tablet in a teaspoonful of boiled and cooled water immediately before administration.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Sterio 8 mg Tablet:

• If allergic to this medicine, inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Special warnings of Sterio 8 mg Tablet with food and drink:

During this medication, grapefruit or grapefruit juice should not be consumed.

Storage condition of Sterio 8 mg Tablet:

Store protected from light & moisture at a temperature not exceeding 30ºC.
