About Trulimax 500 mg Tablet:

Each film coated Trulimax 500 mg tablet contains Azithromycin 500 mg.

Trulimax 500 mg tablet is a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. It acts by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit of susceptible microorganisms and, thus, interfering with microbial protein synthesis. Azithromycin should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria in order to prevent the development of antimicrobial resistance and maintain the efficacy of Azithromycin.

Uses of Trulimax 500 mg Tablet:

Trulimax 500 mg tablet is a macrolide antibacterial drug, used for the treatment of patients with the following bacterial infections:

• Upper respiratory tract infections such as sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, etc.
• Acute otitis media.
• Lower respiratory tract infections such as acute bronchitis and mild to moderately severe community-acquired pneumonia.
• Skin and soft tissue infections.
• Uncomplicated Chlamydia trachomatis urethritis and cervicitis.
• Uncomplicated gonorrhea, etc.

Usage Direction of Trulimax 500 mg Tablet:

• Trulimax 500 mg tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Trulimax 500 mg tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related Information of Trulimax 500 mg Tablet:

• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Trulimax 500 mg tablet.
• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications
• The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Trulimax 500 mg tablet with any other medication. 
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.
