About Tenomac 50 mg Tablet:

Tenomac 50 mg tablet belongs to a group of medicine called beta-blockers, used for the treatment of hypertension.

Each film coated Tenomac 50 mg tablet contains Atenolol 50 mg.

Atenolol is a cardio-selective beta-blocker and selectively binds to the ß1-adrenergic receptor as an antagonist. Inhibition of ß1 receptors lowers the heart rate, blood pressure, and strain on the heart.

Use of Tenomac 50 mg Tablet:

Tenomac 50 mg tablet is prescribed for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), angina pectoris associated with coronary atherosclerosis, cardiac arrhythmias, and acute myocardial infarction.

Usage direction of Tenomac 50 mg Tablet:

• Tenomac 50 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Tenomac 50 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
