About Sigcet M Tablet:

Sigcet M Tablet is a combination medicine, indicated for relieving symptoms of allergic rhinitis.

Each film-coated Sigcet M Tablet contains Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride 5 mg and Montelukast Sodium equivalent to Montelukast 10 mg.

Montelukast is a selective leukotriene receptor antagonist. Leukotriene type-1 receptor is located on the respiratory airway and on pro-inflammatory cells. It has been correlated with the pathophysiology of asthma and allergic rhinitis. By inhibiting the leukotriene type-1 receptor, Montelukast helps to reduce inflammation in the airways and relieve allergic symptoms.

Levocetirizine is an antiallergic medication that selectively inhibits histamine H1 receptors. This action prevents the negative symptoms associated with histamine release and provides relief from allergic reactions.

Uses of Sigcet M Tablet:

Sigcet M Tablet is a combination of Levocetirizine and Montelukast, which is prescribed to relieve symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial).

Usage Direction of Sigcet M Tablet:

• Sigcet M Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Sigcet M Tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Sigcet M Tablet:

• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Sigcet M Tablet.
• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
• The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Sigcet M Tablet with any other medication.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep the medicine out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Sigcet M Tablet:

Store in a cool & dry place. Protected from direct sunlight.
