About Salphyllin M Tablet:

Salphyllin M Tablet is a combination medicine, indicated for relieving symptoms of allergic rhinitis.

Each uncoated bilayered Salphyllin M Tablet contains Montelukast Sodium equivalent to Montelukast 10 mg and Levocetirizine Hydrochloride 5 mg.

Montelukast is a selective leukotriene receptor antagonist. Leukotriene type-1 receptor is located on the respiratory airway and on pro-inflammatory cells. It has been correlated with the pathophysiology of asthma and allergic rhinitis. By inhibiting the leukotriene type-1 receptor, Montelukast helps to reduce inflammation in the airways and relieve allergic symptoms.

Levocetirizine is an antiallergic medication that selectively inhibits histamine H1 receptors. This action prevents the negative symptoms associated with histamine release and provides relief from allergic reactions.

Use of Salphyllin M Tablet:

Salphyllin M Tablet is a combination of Levocetirizine and Montelukast, which is prescribed to relieve symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial).

Usage Direction of Salphyllin M Tablet:

• Salphyllin M Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the Physician.
• Salphyllin M Tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the Physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Salphyllin M Tablet:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Salphyllin M Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• Consult with the Physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep the medicine out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Salphyllin M Tablet:

• Store protected from light & moisture, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
