About Prolin + SR 300 mg Tablet:

Prolin + SR 300 mg Tablet contains progesterone, which is a natural female sex hormone, essential for the regulation of ovulation and menstruation.

Prolin + SR 300 mg Tablet is used for the treatment of menstrual and pregnancy-related issues by adjusting the hormonal balance within the body.

Each film-coated sustained-release Prolin + SR 300 mg Tablet contains Progesterone 300 mg.

Progesterone is the main hormone secreted by corpus luteum and the placenta. It works by inducing secretory changes in the endometrium, promoting mammary gland development, relaxing uterus, blocking follicular maturation and ovulation, maintaining pregnancy, inducing adequate endometrial maturity, thus promoting embryo implantation.

Use of Prolin + SR 300 mg Tablet:

Prolin + SR 300 mg Tablet is prescribed for the following:

• Regulation of ovulation and menstruation
• Treatment of amenorrhea (absence of a menstrual period in a woman of reproductive age), premenstrual syndrome, recurrent miscarriage due to progesterone deficiency
• Control of abnormal uterine bleeding

Prolin + SR 300 mg Tablet can also be used as a part of hormonal replacement therapy for the prevention of endometrial hyperplasia (thickening of the lining of the uterus).

Usage Direction of Prolin + SR 300 mg Tablet:

• Prolin + SR 300 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Prolin + SR 300 mg Tablet should be swallowed whole.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Prolin + SR 300 mg Tablet:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Prolin + SR 300 mg Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
