About Oxetol 450 mg Tablet:

Oxetol 450 mg Tablet is an anti-epileptic medication, which is indicated for the treatment of partial seizures with or without secondarily generalized tonic-clonic seizures.

Each film-coated Oxetol 450 mg Tablet contains Oxcarbazepine 450 mg.

Oxcarbazepine belongs to a class of anti-epileptic drugs. It works by blocking the voltage-sensitive sodium channels, stabilizing hyperexcited neuronal membranes, inhibiting repetitive neuronal firing, and diminishing the propagation of synaptic impulses, thus preventing the spread of seizure.

Use of Oxetol 450 mg Tablet:

Oxetol 450 mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of partial seizures with or without secondarily generalized tonic-clonic seizures.

Usage Direction of Oxetol 450 mg Tablet:

• Oxetol 450 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the Neurologist.
• Oxetol 450 mg Tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the Neurologist’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Oxetol 450 mg Tablet:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Oxetol 450 mg Tablet, inform the Neurologist immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the Neurologist immediately.
• The Neurologist should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• Consult with the Neurologist during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep all medicines out of reach of children.

• Store at room temperature. Protected from light & moisture.
