About Oxmazetol 450 mg Tablet:

Oxmazetol 450 mg Tablet is an anti-epileptic medication, which is indicated for the treatment of partial seizures with or without secondarily generalized tonic-clonic seizures.

Each film-coated Oxmazetol 450 mg Tablet contains Oxcarbazepine 450 mg.

Oxcarbazepine belongs to a class of anti-epileptic drugs. It works by blocking the voltage-sensitive sodium channels, stabilizing hyperexcited neuronal membranes, inhibiting repetitive neuronal firing, and diminishing the propagation of synaptic impulses, thus preventing the spread of the seizure.

Use of Oxmazetol 450 mg Tablet:

Oxmazetol 450 mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of partial seizures with or without secondarily generalized tonic-clonic seizures.

Usage Direction of Oxmazetol 450 mg Tablet:

• Oxmazetol 450 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the Physician.
• Oxmazetol 450 mg Tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the Physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Oxmazetol 450 mg Tablet:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Oxmazetol 450 mg Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• Consult with the Physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep all medicines out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Oxmazetol 450 mg Tablet:

• Store protected from moisture, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
