About Monticope Suspension:

Monticope Suspension is a combination medicine, indicated for relieving symptoms of allergic rhinitis in children.

Each 5 ml of Monticope Suspension contains Montelukast Sodium equivalent to Montelukast 4 mg and Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride 2.5 mg.

Montelukast is a selective leukotriene receptor antagonist. Leukotriene type-1 receptor is located on the respiratory airway and on pro-inflammatory cells. It has been correlated with the pathophysiology of asthma and allergic rhinitis. By inhibiting the leukotriene type-1 receptor, Montelukast helps reduce inflammation in the airways and relieve allergic symptoms.

Levocetirizine is an antiallergic medication that selectively inhibits histamine H1 receptors. This action prevents the negative symptoms associated with histamine release and provides relief from allergic reactions.

Use of Monticope Suspension:

Monticope Suspension is a combination of Levocetirizine and Montelukast, which is prescribed to relieve symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial) in children.

Usage Direction of Monticope Suspension:

• Monticope Suspension is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician only.
• Monticope Suspension is for paediatric use only.
• Shake well before use.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Monticope Suspension:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Monticope Suspension, inform the physician immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this suspension with any other medicines or supplements.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Monticope Suspension:

• Store in a dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light.
