About Montemac L Syrup:

Montemac L Syrup is a combination medicine, indicated for relieving symptoms of allergic rhinitis in children.

Each 5 ml of Montemac L Syrup contains Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride 2.5 mg and Montelukast Sodium equivalent to Montelukast 4 mg.

Levocetirizine is an antiallergic medication that selectively inhibits histamine H1 receptors. This action prevents the negative symptoms associated with histamine release and provides relief from allergic reactions.

Montelukast is a selective leukotriene receptor antagonist. Leukotriene type-1 receptor is located on the respiratory airway and on pro-inflammatory cells. It has been correlated with the pathophysiology of asthma and allergic rhinitis. By inhibiting the leukotriene type-1 receptor, Montelukast helps to reduce inflammation in the airways and relieve allergic symptoms.

Use of Montemac L Syrup:

Montemac L Syrup is a combination of Levocetirizine and Montelukast, which is prescribed to relieve symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial) in children.

Usage Direction of Montemac L Syrup:

• Montemac L Syrup is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Montemac L Syrup is for pediatric use only.
• Shake well before use.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Montemac L Syrup:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Montemac L Syrup, inform the physician immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this syrup with any other medicines or supplements.
• Keep medicine out of reach of children.

• Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Do not freeze.
