About Huminsulin N 100 IU Injection 3 ml Cartridge:

Huminsulin N is a Isophane insulin injection Each ml contains 100 IU Human Insulin (r-DNA origin) as active ingredient, 1.6 mg m-cresol Ph. Eur. as preservative, 16 mg Glycerol as tonicity modifier, 0.65 mg Phenol as preservative, Protamine Sulphate for complexing with insulin to prolong its action q.s. to obtain 0.270 mg of Protamine base, 3.78 mg Dibasic Sodium Phosphate Ph. Eur. As buffer, Zinc oxide q.s. as stabilizer, Hydrochloric Acid Solution 10% q.s. and Sodium Hydroxide Solution 10% q.s. for pH adjustment and Water for injection q.s. to 1 ml.

Use of Huminsulin N 100 IU Injection 3 ml Cartridge:

Huminsulin N is prescribed for treatment of Diabetes Mellitus. Huminsulin N may be used for Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes.

Usage direction of Huminsulin N 100 IU Injection 3 ml Cartridge:

• Doctor will advise the right dose and duration of administration as per the patient’s condition.
• Before using know the process of adjusting pen with the respective cartridge. For proper using direction please follow the using instructions of enclosed leaflet.
• Administer subcutaneously into the thigh, upper arm, or abdomen and rotate the injection sites.
• Do not stop, skip or change the dose without physician’s advice.
• Do not use if any damage found or any floating particle observed.

Precaution & Related information of Huminsulin N 100 IU Injection 3 ml Cartridge:

• If you find any complication during taking this medication inform your physician immediately.
• If you are taking any medications and any other supplements please inform your physician.
• Please take precaution during the use of Huminsulin N in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the pack, or if the packaging is torn or shows signs of tampering.
• Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
• Pregnancy & lactation: Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy & lactation.
• Storage: For unused cartridge, keep in a refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C. Must not be allowed to freeze. After insertion of the cartridge in the pen, the suspension should be used in 28 days. When in use the cartridges should be stored below 30°C and do not refrigerate.
