About Glz Plus Tablet:

Glz Plus tablet is a combination of two anti-diabetic medications, used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Each film-coated Glz Plus tablet contains Gliclazide 80 mg, Metformin Hydrochloride 500 mg and Excipients q.s.

Gliclazide is an antidiabetic sulphonylurea. It increases insulin sensitivity at peripheral target sites by stimulating insulin release from the pancreatic ß-cells. It also reduces insulin uptake and glucose output of the liver.

Metformin is a biguanide antihyperglycemic agent which improves glucose tolerance by lowering both basal and postprandial plasma glucose. It decreases hepatic glucose production, delays intestinal glucose absorption, and improves insulin sensitivity by enhancing peripheral glucose uptake and utilization.

Use of Glz Plus Tablet:

Glz Plus tablet is prescribed for the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Usage direction of Glz Plus Tablet:

• Glz Plus tablet should be taken orally.
• Glz Plus tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Glz Plus Tablet:

• If allergic to this medicine, inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• It is dangerous to take this preparation except under medical supervision.

Storage condition of Glz Plus Tablet:

Store protected from light and moisture at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
