About Esobiz 40 mg Tablet:

Esobiz 40 mg tablet is a proton pump inhibitor used to treat Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and gastric ulcer.

Each enteric coated Esobiz 40 mg tablet contains Esomeprazole Magnesium Trihydrate equivalent to Esomeprazole 40 mg and Excipients q.s.

Esomeprazole is the S-isomer of omeprazole. It exerts its stomach acid-suppressing effects by blocking the final step in gastric acid secretion by specific inhibition of H+/K+-ATPase enzyme system present on the secretory surface of the gastric parietal cells.

Use of Esobiz 40 mg Tablet:

Esobiz 40 mg tablet is prescribed for the treatment of:

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
• Excessive acidic condition of the stomach such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
• Damaged esophagus, which is caused by stomach acid (Erosive esophagitis).
• Gastric ulcer, which is either caused by helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection, or induced by drugs.

Usage direction of Esobiz 40 mg Tablet:

• Esobiz 40 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Esobiz 40 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Esobiz 40 mg Tablet:

• If allergic to this medicine, inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Esobiz 40 mg Tablet:
