About Doxt SL Capsule:

Each Doxt SL capsule contains Doxycycline Hyclate equivalent to Doxycycline (pellets) 100 mg, Lactic Acid Bacillus (As enteric coated pellets) 5 billion spores and Excipients q.s.

Doxycycline is a broad-spectrum antibiotic synthetically derived from oxytetracycline and used to treat a wide variety of susceptible bacterial infections. It inhibits protein synthesis by prohibiting the 30S ribosomal subunit of bacteria.

Lactobacillus is a probiotic and it is called as friendly bacteria. It is used along with antibiotics in order to restore the body’s natural microbial flora within the digestive tract. Lactobacillus helps in the breakdown of food and leads to the production of lactic acid, hydrogen peroxide, and other byproducts. This will alter the intestinal pH and that make the environment hostile to pathogens.

Use of Doxt SL Capsule:

Doxt SL capsule is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections including urinary tract infections and respiratory tract infections like pneumonia, eye infection, and skin infection like acne, sexually transmitted diseases like gonorrhea, and other infections like traveler’s diarrhea, leptospirosis, malaria, tick fever, etc.

Usage Direction of Doxt SL Capsule:

• Doxt SL capsule should be taken orally.
• Doxt SL capsule is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the capsule.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
