About Bacfen XL 10 mg Capsule:

Bacfen XL 10 mg capsule is used for the treatment of muscle stiffness.

Each extended release (GRS) Bacfen XL 10 mg capsule contains Baclofen 10 mg and Excipients q.s.

Baclofen, a structural analogue of neurotransmitter GABA, is a centrally acting skeletal muscle relaxant. It inhibits the transmission of both monosynaptic and polysynaptic reflexes, possibly by stimulating the GABA-B-receptors or by hyperpolarisation of the primary afferent fibre terminals resulting in muscle spasticity relief.

Use of Bacfen XL 10 mg Capsule:

Bacfen XL 10 mg capsule is a muscle relaxant and an antispasmodic medication. It is prescribed to diminish the signs and symptoms of muscle spasticity resulting from various conditions such as multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, or other motor neuron diseases, etc.

Usage direction of Bacfen XL 10 mg Capsule:

• Bacfen XL 10 mg capsule should be taken orally.
• Bacfen XL 10 mg capsule is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the capsule.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
