About Azulix 4 mg Tablet:

Azulix 4 mg tablet is an anti-diabetic medication used to treat type-2 diabetes mellitus.

Each uncoated Azulix 4 mg tablet contains: Glimepiride 4 mg.

Glimepiride, an antidiabetic sulphonylurea, reduces blood glucose by stimulating the insulin release from pancreatic ß-cells and decreases glucose output from the liver. It also increases insulin sensitivity at peripheral target sites.

Use of Azulix 4 mg Tablet:

Azulix 4 mg tablet is prescribed for the treatment of type-2 diabetes mellitus.

Usage Direction of Azulix 4 mg Tablet:

• Azulix 4 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Azulix 4 mg tablet is taken whole with help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the tablet without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
