About Amitone 75 mg Tablet:

Amitone 75 mg tablet is an antidepressant medication, used for the treatment of depression.

Each film coated Amitone 75 mg tablet contains Amitriptyline Hydrochloride 75mg and Excipients q.s.

Amitriptyline is a dibenzo cycloheptadiene tricyclic antidepressant. It inhibits the neuronal reuptake of serotonin (5-HT) and norepinephrine by the presynaptic neuronal membrane, hence increasing the synaptic concentration in the central nervous system and helps in improving depressive symptoms.

Use of Amitone 75 mg Tablet:

Amitone 75 mg tablet is prescribed for:

• The treatment of the major depressive disorder
• The management of neuropathic pain
• The prophylactic treatment of migraine and chronic tension-type headache (CTTH)

Usage direction of Amitone 75 mg Tablet:

• Amitone 75 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Amitone 75 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
