About Gushout Tablet:

Gushout Tablet contains Potassium Citrate & Magnesium Citrate, which acts as an urinary alkalinizing agent. It is primarily used for the management and prevention of kidney stones and the treatment of renal tubular acidosis (RTA). The citrate component in the medicine is metabolized to bicarbonate, which makes the urine more alkaline (raises the urinary pH). This increased alkalinity helps to dissolve uric acid stones and prevents the crystallization, growth, and aggregation of other stone-forming salts like calcium oxalate and calcium phosphate in the kidneys. It also contributes to the maintenance of normal electrolyte balance and further inhibits stone formation.

Composition:

Each uncoated tablet contains:

Potassium Magnesium Citrate: 978 mg [Equivalent to Potassium Magnesium Citrate (Anhydrous): 714.90 mg and Magnesium Citrate (Anhydrous): 263.10 mg]

Colour: Titanium Dioxide

Each tablet contains approx:

Magnesium Ion: 3.5 m Eq, Potassium Ion: 7 m Eq, Citrate Ion: 10.5 m Eq

Uses Of Gushout Tablet:

• Prevention and treatment of kidney stones (nephrolithiasis), especially those composed of calcium oxalate, calcium phosphate, and uric acid.
• Management of renal tubular acidosis (RTA) with calcium stones.
• Correcting a low citrate level in the urine (hypocitraturia), which is a common metabolic abnormality in stone formers.

Usage Direction Of Gushout Tablet:

• Gushout Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
• Gushout Tablet is to be swallowed whole and not to be crushed or chewed.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the recommended dose.
• Before consumption, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

• If allergic to any ingredients of Gushout Tablet, let the physician know straight away.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this one with any other medicines or supplements.

• Store in a cool, dry & dark place.
