About Electral Apple Flavour RTD ORS:

Electral Apple Flavour RTD ORS is a WHO-recommended, ready-to-drink Oral Rehydration Salt (ORS) formula. It is advised for the replacement of fluid and electrolytes and maintenance of hydration in dirrhoea, vomiting and other conditions where there is a loss of water and electrolytes. Its tasty apple flavour makes it delicious to consume.

Composition:

Each pack of (200 ml) contains:

Sodium Chloride: 0.52 g, Potassium Chloride: 0.30 g, Sodium Citrate: 0.58 g, Dextrose Anhydrous: 2.70 g & Excipients q.s.

200 ml of Electral supplies electrolytes in the following concentrations:

Electrolytes:

Sodium: 75 mOsmol/litre, Potassium: 20 mOsmol/litre, Chloride: 65 mOsmol/litre, Citrate: 10 mOsmol/litre & Dextrose: 75 mOsmol/litre- Total Osmolarity is 245 mOsmol/lit

Use of Electral Apple Flavour RTD ORS:

• Used for the replacement of fluid and electrolytes
• Maintains hydration in dirrhoea, vomiting and other conditions where there is a loss of water and electrolytes

Usage Direction of Electral Apple Flavour RTD ORS:

• Electral Apple Flavour RTD ORS is intended to consume orally.
• The dose should be equivalent to patient’s fluid requirement for maintenance and replacement of losses.
• Do not consume more than the recommended quantity.
• Before consumption, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

Precaution & Safety Related Information of Electral Apple Flavour RTD ORS:

• If allergic to any ingredients of Electral Apple Flavour RTD ORS, let the healthcare professional know straight away.
• If found any other complications, inform the healthcare professional immediately.
• The healthcare professional should be well informed when the concomitant consumption of this one with another product.
• Caution: Caution should be observed in patients with depressed renal function. Severe continuing diarrhoea or other critical fluid losses may need supplementation with other parenteral fluids along with Electral.
• This product is not for injection.
• Do not buy/consume if the pack is puffed.
• Use the content within 24 hours after opening.
• Seek precautions during pregnancy and lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage Condition of Electral Apple Flavour RTD ORS:

• Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
