Pregnacare Breast-feeding is specially formulated to help support the nutritional requirements of new mothers throughout the postnatal period and while breast-feeding. During this time a healthy, varied diet is vital for new mothers, to help produce nutritious breast milk and maintain their own health and wellbeing. Calcium, Vitamins K & D, Zinc and Magnesium in this pack, maintains normal bones while Calcium and vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting, Vitamin B6, Iron and Magnesium which contribute to normal energy release, Maternal intake of DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) contributes to the normal brain and eye development of breast-fed infants. Infants have limited capability to synthesize fatty acids, which therefore must be obtained directly from external sources such as the mother's milk.

Elemental Calcium: 350 mg, Elemental Magnesium: 75 mg, Vitamin C: 50 mg, Vitamin E: 10 mg, Nicotinamide: 10 mg, Elemental Iron: 8 mg, Elemental Zinc: 7.5 mg, Vitamin B6: 5 mg, Pantothenic Acid: 3 mg, Vitamin B1: 2.5 mg, Vitamin B2: 1 mg, Elemental Copper: 500 mcg, Folic Acid: 200 mcg, Elemental lodine: 75 mcg, Biotin: 75 mcg, Vitamin K1: 35 mcg, Elemental Selenium: 15 mcg, Vitamin D3: 10 mcg (400 IU), Vitamin B12: 3 mcg.
