About Povifine 5% Ointment: :

Povifine 5%is a topical microbicidal water-soluble ointment that is effective against bacteria, including spores, fungi, yeasts, protozoa and viruses, even in the presence of blood, serum, pus and necrotic. It is formulated with Povidone Iodine, which has anti-inflammatory & antiseptic properties used to heal wounds caused by infections in minor cuts, scrapes or burns..

Composition:

Povidone-lodine: 5% w/w (0.5% w/w available lodine), Water-Soluble Ointment Base: q.s.

Uses Of Povifine 5% Ointment:

• Used as topical microbicidal water-soluble.
• Effective against bacteria, including spores, fungi, yeasts, protozoa and viruseseven in the presence of blood, serum, pus and necrotic.
• Used to heal wounds caused by infections.
• Used to disinfect hands & various surgical items.

Uses Direction of Povifine 5% Ointment:

• Biodine Ointment is intended for external use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
• Use as often as needed or as directed by the physician.
• Do not stop or skip Povifine 5% Ointment without consulting the doctor.
• Do not apply more than the recommended dose.
• Before application, always go through the leaflet comes up with the product.

• If allergic to any ingredients of Biodine Ointment, let the doctors know straight away.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The physician should be well informed when concomitant application of this one with any other products.
