About Peglec Powder :

Peglec Powder is used for gastrointestinal lavage. It is formulated with Polyethylene Glycol and Electrolytes that is used for bowel cleaning prior to colonoscopy, colorectal surgery and barium meal X-ray examination.

Composition:

Each pack (137.15g) contains:

Polyethylene Glycol 3350: 118.0 g, Sodium Chloride: 2.93 g, Potassium Chloride: 1.484 g, Sodium Bicarbonate: 3.370 g, Anhydrous Sodium Sulfate: 11.360 g

Uses Of Peglec Powder :

• Used for gastrointestinal lavage.
• Used for bowel cleaning prior to colonoscopy, colorectal surgery and barium meal X-ray examination.

Usage Direction Of Peglec Powder :

• Peglec Powder is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
• Empty the contents of one pack of peglec powder into 1 litre of clean drinking water and stir well to dissolve it.
• There after pour another litre of water in to the prepared solution, to make it 2 litres of solution.
• To improve the taste, if necessary, one of the flavours provided in the pack can be mixed in peglec solution.
• Pour one glassful (200ml) of prepared solution and drink.
• Repeat drinking 200ml every 10-15 minutes such that 1000ml is consumed in one hour.
• The first bowel movement can occur approximately 1-2 hours after the start of peglec consumption.
• Continue drinking the remaining peglec solution until the stool becomes water like (colourless or yellowish) and without any solid matter.
• Please refer the detailed diagrammatic user guidelines provided with this pack for preparation of peglec solution and its use.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the recommended dose.
• Before comsumption always go through the leaflet or labeled instruction.

Storage Condition Of Peglec Powder :

• Store protected from light and moisture at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
