About Movicol (Orange Flavour) Liquid:

Movicol (Orange Flavour) Liquid is a laxative medicine. It contains Polyethylene Glycol, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Bicarbonate & Potassium Chloride. It used to treat constipation that indicated  for cleansing of the colon in preparation for colonoscopy in adults and pediatric.

Composition:

Each 25 ml contains :

Polyethylene Glycol 3350: 13.125 g, Sodium Chloride: 350.7 mg, Sodium Bicarbonate: 178.5 mg, Potassium Chloride: 46.6 mg

Uses Of Movicol (Orange Flavour) Liquid:

• Used as a laxtive medicine.
• Used to treat constipation that indicated  for cleansing of the colon in preparation for colonoscopy in adults and pediatric.

Usage Direction Of Movicol (Orange Flavour) Liquid:

• Movicol (Orange Flavour) Liquid is intended for external use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
• Shake well before use.
• Movicol (Orange Flavour) Liquid must be diluted before use & may only be diluted in water.

Dilution:

For adults and children, 7 to 11 years:

• Movicol Liquid concentrate should be measured out, using the cup provided.
• Add water, to make the solution up to the 125 ml mark.
• This diluted solution is to be consumed fully at one time.

For children, 2 to 6 years:

• Movicol Liquid concentrate should be measured out, using the cup provided.
• Add water, to make the solution up to the 62.5 ml mark.
• This 62.5 ml of diluted solution is to be consumed fully at one time.
• Do not skip or stop using Movicol (Orange Flavour) Liquid without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the recommended dose.
• Before consumption, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

Precaution & Other Related Information of Movicol (Orange Flavour) Liquid:

• If allergic to any ingredients of Movicol (Orange Flavour) Liquid, let the physician know straight away.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this one with with any other products.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• If required, the diluted solution should be stored covered, in a refrigerator (2-8° C). Throw away any solution not used within a 24 hour period.
• Discard the product 30 days after the first opening.
• Do not exceed the maximum daily dose.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage Condition Of Movicol (Orange Flavour) Liquid:

• Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
• Do not refrigerate or freeze.
