About Lidopril Gel:

Lidopril Gel is a topical anesthetic composed of two local anesthetic agents, lidocaine and prilocaine. This combination, often referred to as a eutectic mixture of local anesthetics (EMLA), works by stabilizing the neuronal membrane. It inhibits the ionic fluxes required for the initiation and conduction of nerve impulses, thereby affecting local anesthesia on intact skin. It is commonly used to numb the skin before minor medical procedures such as needle insertions, skin grafts, or superficial surgical procedures.

Composition:

Lidocaine: 2.50% w/w, Prilocaine: 2.50% w/w

Preservatives:

Methylparaben: 0.10% w/w, Propylparaben: 0.05% w/w, In a gel base

Uses of Lidopril Gel:

• Provision of local anesthesia on normal intact skin for minor medical procedures.
• Numbing the skin prior to needle insertion or superficial surgical treatments.

Usage Direction of Lidopril Gel:

• Lidopril Gel is intended for external use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
• Apply only on normal intact skin.
• Do not apply near the eyes.
• Do not skip or stop using Lidopril Gel without the physician’s advice.
• Do not use more than the recommended dose.
• Before application, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

Precaution & Other Related Information of Lidopril Gel:

• If allergic to any ingredients of Lidopril Gel, let the physician know straight away.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The physician should be well informed when concomitant use of this one with any other medicines or supplements occurs.
• Replace the cap tightly after every use.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage Condition of Lidopril Gel:

• Store protected from light and moisture at temperatures below 30°C. Do not freeze.
