Description of Hicks Easy Check Malaria Antigen Rapid Test Kit (25 Kit):

Hicks Easy Check Malaria Antigen Rapid Test Kit is a qualitative detection kit of Plasmodium Falciparum- PF (HRP-II) and Plasmodium Vivax- PV ( pLDH ) in human whole blood.

Kit Components:

1. Test Card: 25 N
2. Sample Dropper: 25 N
3. Buffer Vial: 02 N
4. Product Insert: 01 N

Test Procedure:

1. Add 5 micro liter of the specimen (whole blood) to the sample well(s) of the test device.
2. Add 2-3 drops of assay buffer (approx. 30-60 micro liter).
3. Interpret test result at 5-20 minutes.
4. The result should not be interpreted after 20 minutes and discard the device after use.

 Result Interpretation of the Test:

• If Control and Test 1 lines become visible but Test 2 line does not appear then the result indicates Plasmodium Falciparum (P.F. ) Positive.
• If Control and Test 2 lines become visible but Test 1 line does not appear then the result indicates Plasmodium Vivax (P.V. ) Positive.
• If Control, Test 1 as well as Test 2 lines become visible then the result indicates both Plasmodium Falciparum (P. F.) and Plasmodium Vivax (P.V. ) Positive.
• If only Control line become visible but Test 1 and Test 2 lines do not appear then it indicates negative result.
• If Test 1 and Test 2 lines become visible but Control line does not appear it indicates an invalid report.
• If Control, Test 1 as well as Test 2 lines do not appear it indicates an invalid report.

 Storage Condition:

• Store below 2-30°C sealed.
• Do not freeze.
