About Fusiwal Ointment:

Fusiwal Ointment contains Sodium Fusidate 2.0% w/w, in a neutral Ointment Base q.s. Fusiwal Ointment used as a topical antibacterial medication to treat skin infections by killing germs (bacteria) that cause infections.

Use of Fusiwal Ointment:

Fusiwal Ointment contains Sodium Fusidate as active ingredient, which is antibacterial antibiotic. It is used to treat conditions where the skin is infected by germs (bacteria), such as:

• Impetigo (a weeping, crusty and swollen patch of skin)
• Infected dermatitis (inflammation of the skin) and spots
• Infected cuts and grazes

Usage direction of Fusiwal Ointment:

• Fusiwal Ointment should be applied topically as per doctor’s advice. Doctor will decide the right amount and the duration of use as per the patient condition.
• Apply just enough ointment to form a thin layer on the affected skin.

Precaution & Related Information of Fusiwal Ointment:

• Do not use Fusiwal Ointment if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the ingredients in the product.
• Fusiwal Ointment is for external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, nose and mouth. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with running water.
• Pregnancy and Lactation: Do not use Fusiwal Ointment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless advised to by your doctor. Ask your doctor for advice before taking any medicine.
• Store below 25°C. Protect from light. Do not freeze. Keep Fusiwal ointment out of the reach of children.
