Flamingo Tourniquet is used to control venous & arterial circulation to an extremity for a period of time when the patient is in a life-threatening state as a result of continuous bleeding. Pressure is applied circumferentially upon the skin & underlying tissues of the limb. This pressure is transferred to the walls of vessels, causing them to become temporarily occluded. Made of high-quality polyimide hook & loop tape with a strong rust-free buckle.
