Electral Orange Flavour Sachet is advised for the replacement of fluid and electrolytes and maintenance of hydration in diarrhea, vomiting, and other conditions where there is a loss of water and electrolytes. It is based on the WHO-recommended formula.

21.80 g of Electral in 1 Litre of water supplies electrolytes in the following concentrations:

Composition:

Each 21.8 g powder contains:

Sodium Chloride: 2.60 g, Potassium Chloride: 1.50 g, Sodium Citrate: 2.90 g, Dextrose Anhydrous: 13.50 g, and Excipients q.s.

Usage Direction:

• Electral Orange Flavour Sachet is intended to consume orally in a dose & direction as advised by the health care professional.
• The daily dose should be equivalent to the patient’s fluid requirement for maintenance and replacement of losses.
• Dissolve the entire contents of the sachet in one litre of drinking water.
• The prepared solution should be used within 24 hours.
• Before consumption always goes through the leaflet or label instruction that comes with the product.

• The doctor should become aware of the concomitant consumption of this one with another medicine or supplement.
• Depressed renal function, severe continuing diarrhea or other critical fluid losses may need supplementation with other parenteral fluids along with Electral.
