About Ctrol 0.25 Softgel Capsule:

Ctrol 0.25 Softgel Capsule is used to treat and prevent hypocalcemia (low levels of calcium in the blood) and bone diseases in patients with renal (Kidney) dysfunction or women after menopause. It is formulated with Calcitriol, an analog of vitamin D, it works by regulating the production of parathyroid hormone and maintaining calcium absorption in the body. Thereby, it is beneficial for treating metabolic bone disease in patients with kidney disorder, and secondary hyperthyroidism. It is also effective for treating osteomalacia, rickets, hypophosphatemia, and post-menopausal osteoporosis.

Calcitriol: 0.25 mcg, Excipients: q.s.
