The Contour Plus is a blood glucose monitoring system intended for quantitative measurement of glucose concentration in venous whole blood and in fresh capillary whole blood drawn from the fingertip or palm. This System is suitable for self-testing outside the body (in vitro diagnostic use) by people with diabetes at home or in a clinical setting by healthcare professionals as an aid to monitor the effectiveness of diabetes control.
