About Cital Liquid:

Cital Liquid is a urinary alkalizer, used in treating gout and certain kidney stones.

Each 5 ml of Cital Liquid contains Disodium Hydrogen Citrate 1.37 gm and flavoured syrupy base q.s.

Disodium hydrogen citrate is metabolized to bicarbonate, which increases urinary pH by increasing the excretion of free bicarbonate ions, thereby increasing the solubility of cystine in the urine and the ionization of uric acid to more soluble urate ion. This soluble urate ion gets out of the body through urine.

Use of Cital Liquid:

Cital Liquid is prescribed as a urinary alkalizer to treat gout, kidney stones, and urinary tract infection by alkalinisation of urine.

Usage direction of Cital Liquid:

• Cital Liquid should be taken orally.
• Before consuming the liquid, the consumption amount should be measured by a measuring cup (which is provided inside the package).
• Please check the package leaflet or label instruction before administration.
• Keep the bottle cap tightly closed after use.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

• If allergic to Cital Liquid, inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
