Product Information:

Cavisan Dental Cream is a dentifrice containing 10% strontium chloride hexahydrate is an effective means for reducing the discomfort & pain engendered by thermal and tactile stimuli in patients with dentinal hypersensitivity.

Cavisan Dental Cream contains Strontium Chloride (6H2O) 10% W/W in a pleasantly flavored dentifrice base with color Erythrosine.

3 major reasons to use Cavisan Dental Cream:

  • Non Foaming
  • Zero abrasive formula
  • Contains Thymol a natural antibacterial essential for healthy tooth

Pain-producing stimuli are transmitted to the pulp by a hydrodynamic mechanism- a rapid movement of the fluid in the dentinal tubules. Trauma to these tubules through internal stimuli, scraping, drilling & high osmotic changes bring about fluid movements that cause neural stimulation in the pulp.

Key Benefits:

  • Penetrates the dentin to a depth of a few microns & extends into dental tubules
  • The deposit creates a barrier & reduces dentin permeability, thus dentin sensitivity.

Usage Direction:

  • Cavisan Dental Cream is recommended for dental use only as advised by the dietician.
  • Apply Cavisan Dental Cream over affected area with finger. Rub gently for 2 minutes. Then brush with a soft toothbrush and wash with water. Repeat 2 to 3 times a day is a sure safeguard against dental hypersensitivity.
  • Before using this cream always goes through the leaflet or label instruction that comes up with the product.

Safety Information:

  • If allergic to any ingredients of Cavisan Dental Cream, let the dentist know straight away.
  • The dietician should be well informed when concomitant use of this one with another medicine.
