About Betadine First Aid Antiseptic Solution:

Betadine First Aid Antiseptic Solution is an antimicrobial formula that contains povidone-iodine, which is effective against a wide spectrum of microorganisms or germs, including infection-causing bacteria, viruses, fungi, spores, and protozoa. It protects the skin against microbial infections by reducing the microbial count on intact skin before surgical incisions, injections, blood collection, or other invasive procedures, helping to prevent postoperative infections as well. This antiseptic formula prevents and manages infections in minor cuts, wounds, injuries, abrasions, burns, and skin around the nails. Additionally, it ensures quick drying and enhanced penetration.

Composition:

Povidone-Iodine: 4% w/v (available iodine 0.4% w/v), Purified Water: q.s.

Usage Direction Of Betadine First Aid Antiseptic Solution:

• Betadine First Aid Antiseptic Solution is intended for external use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
• Unscrew the cap and tear off the induction seal completely before first use.
• Screw the cap again.
• Clean the wound under running tap water and pat it to dry with a clean gauge/cotton swab.
• Pour adequate amount of Betadine First Aid Antiseptic Solution on the affected area by twisting the nozzle anticlockwise.
• Clean and pat it with a clean gauge.
• If needed, cover the affected area with a sterile dressing.
• Before using, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.
