BD Discardit II is a sterile, single use, non-toxic, non-pyrogenic syringe with needle that is used for injection and aspiration of medical fluids, including both bodily fluids (blood, etc.) and medicines. The lubricant included in the barrel material allows for smooth advancement of the plunger, leading to reduced sliding force. The concentric luer slip tip of BD Discardit II Syringe 5 ml provides a friction-fit connection that requires you to push and twist the syringe tip into the needle hub.
