About 3M Skin Prep 10% Solution :

3M Skin Prep 10% Solution is a topical pre and post surgical skin antisepsis solution, that is effective against bacteria, spores, fungi, and viruses. It is formulated with Povidone Iodine, which has anti-inflammatory & antiseptic properties used to heal wounds caused by infections of burns, lacerations and abrasions of minor nature and also used to disinfect hands & various surgical items.

Composition:

Each ml of Prep Paint Contains:

Povidone lodine: 10% w/v, Purified Water IP (q.s.)

Uses Of 3M Skin Prep 10% Solution :

• Used as topical microbicidal.
• Effective against bacteria, spores, fungi, yeast, protozoa and viruses.
• Used to heal wounds caused by infections.
• Used to disinfect hands & various surgical items.

Usage Direction Of 3M Skin Prep 10% Solution :

• 3M Skin Prep 10% Solution is intended for external use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
• Use undiluted. Apply directly to skin.
• Allow to dry before application of dressing, drape or casting.
• Do not skip or stop using 3M Skin Prep 10% Solution without the physician’s advice.
• Do not apply more than the recommended dose.
• Before using, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

Precaution & Other Related Information Of 3M Skin Prep 10% Solution :

• If allergic to any ingredients of 3M Skin Prep 10% Solution, let the physician know straight away.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The physician should be well informed when concomitant application of this one with any other products.Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Do not mix with detergents or other chemicals.
• Contraindicated in cases of known iodine sensitivity.
• Keep out of reach of children.
