About Viraday Tablet:

Viraday Tablet is a combination of three antiviral medications, indicated to treat HIV-1 infection in adults only.

Each film-coated tablet contains Efavirenz 600 mg, Emtricitabine 200 mg, and Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate 300 mg.

Efavirenz is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor of HIV-1. It acts by inhibiting the activity of enzyme reverse transcriptase, thereby, preventing the HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) from multiplying.  

Emtricitabine is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor. It acts by blocking the action of the HIV reverse transcriptase enzyme, thereby, preventing the transcription of HIV RNA to DNA.

Tenofovir is a nucleotide analog reverse transcriptase inhibitor. It prevents viral infections by inhibiting an enzyme reverse transcriptase, required for the virus to multiply.

Use of Viraday Tablet:

Viraday Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults only.

Usage Direction of Viraday Tablet:

• Viraday Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Viraday Tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Viraday Tablet:

• Do not take Viraday Tablet if patients are allergic to Efavirenz or take the medicine called voriconazole, elbasvir, or grazoprevir.  
• Before taking Viraday Tablet, consult with a physician if the patient has liver problems, heart problems, mental problems, history of drug or alcohol abuse, nervous system problems, kidney problems or receive kidney dialysis treatment, bone problems, seizures, or take medicines used to treat seizures.
• Viraday Tablet can cause dizziness, impaired concentration, and drowsiness. If you have these symptoms, do not drive a car, use heavy machinery, or do anything that requires you to be alert.  
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Viraday Tablet with any other medication.
• Keep the container tightly closed.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Viraday Tablet:

Store below 30°C. Protect from moisture.
