About Vildazest Tablet:

Vildazest Tablet is an antidiabetic class of medication prescribed for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Each uncoated Vildazest Tablet contains Vildagliptin 50 mg.

Vildagliptin selectively inhibits the dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) enzyme that rapidly truncates and inactivates incretin hormones such as glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP). Incretin hormones stimulate insulin secretion and inhibit glucagon release in a glucose-dependent manner. These effects help to lower the overall blood glucose levels.

Uses of Vildazest Tablet:

Vildazest Tablet is an oral antidiabetic agent indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes (non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, NIDDM).

Usage Direction of Vildazest Tablet:

• Vildazest Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Vildazest Tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Vildazest Tablet:

• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Vildazest Tablet.
• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
• The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Vildazest Tablet with any other medication.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Vildazest Tablet:

Store between 8°C to 25°C. Protect from moisture.
