About Ventiphylline LS Syrup:

Each 5 ml of Ventiphylline LS syrup contains Levosalbutamol Sulphate equivalent to Levosalbutamol 1 mg, Ambroxol Hydrochloride 30 mg, Guaiphenesin 50 mg in a flavoured base q.s.

Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator medicine that relaxes the muscles in the airways leading to the lung and improves the amount of airflow to and from the lungs. It is used to prevent and treat the symptoms of asthma and Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent that increases respiratory tract secretion by enhancing the production of pulmonary surfactants and stimulating the ciliary activity. This activity results in the improvement of mucociliary clearance and enhancement of fluid secretion which facilitates expectoration and eases cough.

Guaifenesin acts as an expectorant by increasing the effective hydration of the respiratory gland thereby increasing the volume and reducing the viscosity of tenacious bronchial secretions, thus facilitating its removal by natural clearance processes.

Use of Ventiphylline LS Syrup:

Ventiphylline LS syrup is prescribed for the management of wet or productive cough. It thins the mucus and makes it easier to cough out.

Usage direction of Ventiphylline LS Syrup:

• Ventiphylline LS syrup should be taken orally.

• Shake well before use.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed after use.

• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician's advice.

• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Ventiphylline LS Syrup:

• If allergic to this medicine, inform the physician immediately.

• If found any complications, inform the physician immediately.

• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
