About Valvo CR 300 mg Tablet:

Valvo CR 300 mg Tablet is an antiepileptic class of medication, indicated for the treatment of epilepsy, manic episodes associated with bipolar disorder, and prophylaxis of migraine headache.

Each film-coated Controlled Release Valvo CR 300 mg Tablet contains Sodium Valproate 200 mg and Valproic Acid 87 mg (Both together corresponds to Sodium Valproate 300 mg).

Sodium Valproate is an antiepileptic class of medicines. It controls seizures or fits by stabilizing excessive electrical activity in the brain. It is thought to achieve this in two ways: by increasing the activity of a natural 'nerve-calming' agent in the brain, and by preventing electrical signals from building up in nerve cells in the brain.

Use of Valvo CR 300 mg Tablet:

Valvo CR 300 mg Tablet is prescribed for the following conditions:

• Use as Monotherapy and adjunctive therapy in the management of epilepsy (A disorder, in which nerve cell activity in the brain is disturbed, causing seizures)
• Treatment of manic episodes associated with bipolar disorder
• Prophylaxis of migraine headache

Usage Direction of Valvo CR 300 mg Tablet:

• Valvo CR 300 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Valvo CR 300 mg Tablet is to be swallowed whole.
• Do not chew the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Valvo CR 300 mg Tablet:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Valvo CR 300 mg Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep the medicine away from reach of children.

Storage condition of Valvo CR 300 mg Tablet:

• Store in dry & dark place at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, protected from light & moisture.
